My AirPods aren't working

Due to limitations with bluetooth devices and stereo audio, follow these best practices when using AirPods and other bluetooth headsets with High Fidelity:

  • When using WiFi, ensure you’re using a 5Ghz WiFi connection. On a 2.4Ghz connection, you may experience audio breakup and occasional disconnects.
  • You have two options for input devices:
    • Use your AirPods or bluetooth headset as your input device/microphone. Note that these devices do not support stereo audio, so all sound will be mono.
    • Use another input device (either the internal microphone on your computer or an external mic setup). This allows you to take advantage of High Fidelity's 3D audio while still using your bluetooth headset.
