How Do I Customize How Others See Me?

You can change your display name, avatar color, and add a profile photo.

When you enter High Fidelity, you will have the opportunity to customize how you appear to others. You can also do this at any time by clicking on yourself (your colored dot), or clicking the menu in the upper left corner of High Fidelity and selecting "Profile," to begin the process.

On a Computer

Here you can change your display name, color, and upload a profile picture from your local file system.

  • Click the camera icon to choose and upload a profile picture.
  • Click the color picker to select your dot color. If you don't choose one, High Fidelity will pick a color based on your profile picture, or if you don't have a profile picture, it will pick a default color option.
  • Under "Display Name," type in the name you wish to display to other users. If this field is blank when you click "Ready," then High Fidelity will give you a two-word display name randomly generated from a list of adjectives and a list of nouns.

On Mobile

On mobile, the experience is much the same.

  • You can choose to upload a picture or take a new one. You will need to grant access to your photos if you want to use a pic from your library:
