During the first quarter of 2017, High Fidelity focused on two strategic objectives:

  • Demonstrating High Fidelity as a distributed service capable of scaling to support large user groups
  • Onboarding partners to demonstrate the power of working with High Fidelity as an open-source platform

Here’s a quick run down of what we’ve done so far:

Recent highlights from High Fidelity

As a company, our greatest achievement to date has been supporting over 100 unique, real people interacting in a single space. We think the ability for hundreds of people to meet together online will be an important factor in the long term success of virtual reality.

It has also been exciting to see so many new uses for the platform, from partner integrations (Clara.io, Archilogic, BinaryVR, and Morph3D) to new applications of the technology (mixed reality, supporting events like Power Rangers and Dragon Ball Z live cast performances).

Going forward into the second quarter, our goals will be to make High Fidelity more accessible to users as creators and explorers.
