About The Role

High Fidelity is in search of a Full Stack Application Developer who will spearhead the design and implementation of our next-gen WebRTC-based collaboration application. You'll be the cornerstone, ensuring that we deliver a seamless, scalable, and unique experience to our users.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a WebRTC-based application focusing on collaboration.

  • Develop full-stack application components – client, server, and database – ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

  • Make informed decisions on when to leverage third-party solutions and when to develop proprietary components.

  • Stay updated with the latest in WebRTC and web development trends to ensure our application remains at the forefront.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user-centric features and ensure smooth deployment.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Extensive experience with WebRTC SDKs and APIs, specifically for audio, video, and data channels.

  • Experience in integrating third-party WebRTC components or services.

  • Proven experience building scalable client/server web applications.

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and node.js.

  • Solid understanding of database design and management.

 

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with C++ and WebASM.

  • Prior experience in developing collaboration tools or platforms.

  • Client-side JS / Webrtc / WebAudio experience

  • Audio processing in C++ or WebAudio/WASM

  • WebRTC experience on iOS, Android, or Unity
