Howdy Folks!

Caitlyn Meeks here. Please allow me to introduce myself!

After seven years running the Unity Asset Store, I’ve moved up and onward to join High Fidelity as Director of Content. It’s terrifically exciting to join a company whose goal is to leverage VR to embrace and amplify that which makes us human. Being human is a complex and beautiful dance of communication, eye-contact and body language. It’s quiet observation, conflict, delight, surprise, resolution, tragedy, love and friendship. High Fidelity is an open-source VR platform crafted with this dance in mind. I’m so pleased to be a part of it.

This is the first of a series of weekly blog posts which will focus, primarily, on sharing information and observations that we feel will benefit content creators. Content-creator is an umbrella term that might be used to describe an artist, a programmer, modeler, a storyteller, a musician / sound designer, or other alchemist of the imagination. Whatever you call them, they’re the very special people who give a part of themselves to help create the metaverse.

Please keep checking back, we’ll be posting weekly updates with new information about content creation, tricks and tips, interviews with content creators and answers to your comments and questions.
